 Skana Gee - Client Services

"For me, the creative process is all about storytelling. As a longtime print journalist, I love to peel back the layers and find the story at the core. My goal for clients is to craft stories — in a myriad of forms — that are dynamic, compelling and thoughtful."

Skana Gee has worked in journalism and communications for the past 20 years. She was employed for the bulk of that time as a reporter and editor at The Daily News in Halifax, where she covered everything from municipal politics and health, to education and crime. She spent six years in the newspaper's arts and entertainment department, writing about film, visual art, food and music. Three years ago, she stumbled into the world of film and television publicity, and has been actively engaged in a wide range of communications projects — also working for business, government, and non-profits — ever since. Adding project management to her considerable skills, Skana has led projects from strategy to execution for national, provincial and local organizations. A mother of two, Skana writes for several magazines, including Halifax Magazine, Our Children, and Inspired Living.
